About the Truth for Saints ministry

Truth for Saints was founded by Andrew Hamilton in 2004 as an informational website for those genuine Christians (whom the Apostle Paul called “The Saints”) to be able to better “provide an answer for the hope within them to any who ask” (1 Peter 3:15)  with regards to world religions, cults, sects and world views which are contrary to the Christian faith which was passed down once for all by the Apostles in the Scriptures. (Jude 3)

Andrew Hamilton has been a Christian since 1992 and has taught Sunday School classes and Bible Studies on the topics of Church History, Christian apologetics, World Religions and Worldviews for much of that time. These days he has been more involved in writing for this website and Christian books which are self-published.

Andrew holds steadfastly to the 5 Solas of the Reformation:
    1. Sola Scripture (Bible as Sole Authority)
    2. Sola Gratia (Saved solely by grace and not works)
    3. Sola Fide (Grace received solely through faith)
    4. Solus Christus (Salvation through faith solely in the finish work of Christ)
    5. Soli Deo Gloria (All of life and existence is solely for the glory of God and not mankind)

For a more in-depth view of Andrew’s theology you can listen to the Truth for Saints podcast or  pick up his book “7  Essentials of Bible Literacy” at Amazon, Barnes and Noble or whereever you buy your Christian books. This site is hosted and maintained for the help of all Christian believers and for the salvation of non-believers at no cost to anyone due to the support shown through purchasing our Christian books and gifts online.

For any further questions, Andrew can be reached via our contact page.

Truth for Saints statement of faith

We realize that often times a statement of faith is only as trustworthy as the teaching that comes from the person or entity making the statement. Feel free to listen to our podcast episodes to make sure that I am adhering to the following statement which I believe wholeheartedly:

Statement of Faith

with scripture references
  • The Triune Nature of God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit - all three are separate persons but of one essence
  • The deity of Christ - Jesus is the Son of God, as equally God as God the Father but Jesus is neither the Father nor the Holy Spirit
  • The person and deity of the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is a person who can be grieved and lied to but is also equated to the God and as the "Spirit of God"
  • Sinless birth of Christ - Jesus was the perfect spotless lamb - without blemish or sin, including original sin passed down through the male line starting with Adam
  • Humanity of Jesus - Although God in the flesh, Jesus was also fully man at the same time. He veiled His deity and came down to earth to dwell with men
  • Penal Substitutionary Atonement - All of mankind is on death row due to his own sinful heart. Jesus, both King and Judge paid the death fine on the cross.
  • Sinful lost state of mankind - Man sinned in Adam in the garden and as a result he fell from the perfection in which he was created. Resulting in a sinful heart
  • Hell is the destination for natural man - The unrepentant and unbelieving man who rejects Jesus ' substitutionary atonement remains on a path to separation
  • Salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone - Salvation is by the finished work of Jesus on the cross and not by adding works at all - Ephesians 2:8,9
  • Inerrancy and sufficiency of the scriptures - The Bible states clearly that it is fully sufficient to make the "man of God complete" - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
  • We believe in one faith - although this might appear to be fragmented among multiple denominations, the one true faith was once for all delivered to us by the Apostles and is comprised of those who put their faith in Jesus for the forgiveness of their sin - these may not be seen externally.
  • We believe in one baptism - This is a baptism into Christ, necessary for the regeneration of the unbeliever causing them to be born again and born into the family of God. Whereas water baptism is an important step of obedience and witness to the world, water baptism is not a requirement of salvation
